Lindsay + Bobby

 

A Tale of Romance...

This wedding was like having a taste of Italy in the south! I met Lindsay whilst running a promotion we only do twice a year called the "Three Bride Selection." People are shocked to find that we literally only choose three brides (twice a year) and work with their budgets to pad our portfolio. Lindsay and Bobby were selected as one of the three and I remember getting on a video chat with her and knowing we made the right choice!

We were so ready for this trip because it was a two-in-one getaway for us, our baby, and my parents. Lindsay and Bobby took us to the lovely Island of Jekyll! We stayed at the Home 2 Suites by Hilton in Brunswick! This is the second time we've stayed there and for business or pleasure, it was a really comfy stay! We enjoyed the spacious suites, the pool, the restaurant, and the patio for a few days and we had no issues or regrets!

The Jekyll Island Club and Resort is where they chose to have their wedding and it was such a stylish and detailed property. A lot of families were there enjoying all that the resort had to offer and we decided we would make a future trip there because of it.

This was the outdoor setup for the reception space and you guys, how breathtaking is this? The weather was a wee bit hot and sunny, but in front of this photo not pictured here - there was a nice view of the water that gave us a lovely breeze for the evening. 

These two had a beautiful outdoor ceremony that was short and sweet. After years of filming weddings, we find that we really enjoy ceremonies outside and when the guest count is smaller than about 80 people. It makes the day much more intimate. 

Following the ceremony, their cocktail hour kicked off in a garden-styled setting with some delicious light drinks and appetizers. I always love to see all of the guests mingling and enjoying all the things that the bride and groom spend months planning for them to do. 

The reception space was so simple, yet elegant and finely decorated. The setting gives us an immaculate dose of palm trees, willow trees, and a waterfront view. Let's go back!

At this rate, I couldn't have expected anything less than the beauty of the cake table you see before us. I am getting some high-class vibes here, with a hint of Italy. It was yummy!

Before parting ways for this lovely wedding weekend with Bobby and Ash, we met them by the water for a couples session and left with a delicious sweet treat from Crumbl! We honestly had such a blast filming their adorable wedding day, we are forever grateful!

Every couple that chooses us to capture their forever moments on film adds a notch to our 'blessing belt.' When planning a wedding, you choose to trust so many vendors who were usually once strangers and that says a lot. But, when we deliver films and couples tell us they LOVED IT and CRIED - it makes all of the pressure, crucial editing, and hard work 1000% worth it every time. We wouldn't trade this at all EVER!
