Madalyn + Sam

Let's Grow Old Together...

We are forever grateful to have crossed paths with these two, for many reasons. I first got in contact with Madalyn after she had reached out to ask if we were available for her August wedding and thankfully, we still had that date open. After we got to chatting, she decided that we'd be a perfect fit and we all saved the date together. However; a few had passed and I hadn't heard back from her about details moving forward. I reached back out for info only to discover that they decided to cancel and postpone their wedding. This doesn't happen often, but when it does - usually we never hear from these couples again Lol Sadly! In this instance though, we were delighted to know that Madalyn still wanted us to be her videography team for her new wedding date a few months later. Yay!!

They changed their wedding date from August 23' to March 24'. So, we flew into Denver the night before their big day and we found ourselves cheating on Hilton, ha! If you have been reading our blogs for a while, then you may know that we stay in Hilton Hotels for all of our business trips. This time, we decided to try out a new hotel we heard about in Denver called the Atwell Suites near the Denver International Airport. This was such a great choice for us that we have no regrets. The suites were spacious, the hotel was extremely clean, the decor and layout were modern and the front desk personnel were very friendly. We were also able to see those beautiful mountain views right from our hotel window. How much better could it get? Probably none for the four days we were in town.

This was our second time visiting Denver and I really don't think we'll ever get tired of the mountain views and the scenery. It is so breathtaking and the way it looked on video can be unmatched! Take us back, please because we love it here!

They chose to get married at the Red Rocks Barn in Colorado Springs, CO. So, this was about an hour's drive from where we were in Denver. That would have been so simple if it had stayed that way. Unfortunately, there was a bad accident that caused the one-hour drive to turn into three. Do you know that Bradley left to arrive early and it didn't make a difference? Do you also know that the bride was so sweet she waited for Bradley to arrive so they could have everything they wanted captured? No, you didn't previously know all of this - but it's how it played out and we are forever grateful for the grace extended for this unforeseen event. The wedding day turned out amazing and they were so sweet!

Filming began with Madalyn and Sam's first look. She looked so stunning and I absolutely loved the neutrals they chose for their decor. You could tell on video that Sam was so happy to see his bride and that they both were in unison with their excitement.

They were not shy at all in their tying of spiritual beliefs and integrations into their special day. The sign mentions that "what God has joined together, no one should separate." This is from Matthew 19:6 in the bible. We absolutely never try to pressure anyone with our Christian beliefs, so it melts our hearts when our couples acknowledge God for their marriage. Our faith is a major factor in why we joined the wedding business.

At the altar, they exchanged their vows in the most meaningful way. They also participated in the Chord of Three Strands unity act which I haven't seen done in a while and love. This symbolizes that they are being joined together by God in the marriage. God in the center, then them both on either end and it is a tie that can't be easily broken when pulled on. God will be the source of strength between these two and it's amazing!

Following the ceremony, they had the most fun and upbeat reception. Everybody was having such a good time and on camera, it looked like the party of the year! As stated before, we are so happy to have captured their forever moments and their grace and appreciation will stick with us forever. We also now want to move to Denver. Lol
