My Eyes Are on You...

We are always happy when we book couples whose weddings fall in November and December. Most people are traveling and focusing on their family for those Holidays so we don't expect to get booked... even though we still do! Paige contacted me after going to our website and filling out our contact form. I remember her being very sweet, excited, and to the point during our initial onboarding conversations. When she officially booked, I was so stoked to block off that date in our calendar as I knew it'd be a beautiful wedding.

They got married at the Barn at Chestnut Springs in Sevierville, Tennesee. By now, as much as we love the invitation to get on a plane, and travel to our couple's weddings in other states; we have come to like the short road trips close to home. Sevierville is about a 3.5-hour drive from our home in Atlanta. Any drive under 5 hours would be our sweet spot when traveling on the road. As you can see above, the venue has an outdoor ceremony space and how lovely are the little Christmas trees with the lights?

When Bradley arrived,  he captured Paige and Jaden doing their first look. You know we have you guys covered for that crisp audio as we always place a mic on the groom and officiant for those intimate moments leading up to the altar. They were too cute!

Their ceremony was adorable. When I met Paige, she said they wanted a small intimate wedding where they could just celebrate and enjoy time with their close friends and family. They carried out exactly that and it was perfect. From the colors, the venue, the couple, the joyful guests etc. Everything turned out beautifully. 

Following the ceremony, they took their family photos and had their post-ceremony couple's photography session. We always try to get bits and pieces of this for those raw footage memories, but most of the time we're headed to the reception early to get clips of your guests enjoying the cocktail hour. We will also try to get the cake and dinner set up. My favorite part from here was them on the swing for photos. Look at these two!!

The reception space had a Christmas theme, but it was still elegant enough to give off those warm, fine-dining vibes. Dinner was delicious and when the guests got to dancing, you could tell they were having an absolute blast. We love this for video!
